Not Your Typical Sports Game

This game is the answer to the age old question "What do you get if you mix sports with action shooter elements?"

Immerse yourself in a fast-paced 2d game set on a distant alien planet. As a captive contestant in the galaxy's most popular game show, your primary task is to survive inside an unforgiving arena in which all kinds of hazards await you. But that's not all – in addition to staying alive, you must score goals to secure victory in your matches.

Win your freedom by competing in a series of matches and earning reputation points to enter the grand finale - “The Big One”.

Gameplay

• Win a level by achieving the main goal before the timer runs out
• Your character has health. If you take damage, you will automatically let go of the ball you are carrying
• If you get hit while having armor, you will not let go of the ball you are carrying
• If your health falls to zero, you will respawn, if possible. Otherwise it's game over
• You can also try to achieve the additional goals of a level. At the moment, they are only decoration, though

Controls

This game can be played with Keyboard/Mouse or Controller.

The controller controls have been tested solely with the XBox 360 Controller

Arenas

Arenas are divided into different Tiers (S, A, B & C) with the C-Arenas being the easiest to beat.

Scoreboards

Hanging in every arena, the scoreboards give you the following information:

• how much respawns you have left
• how much time you have left
• how much goals you have scored
• how much health you have left (red lights)
• how much armor you have left (blue lights)

Sound

There is no sound in this version of the game. I will take care of that in the future.
